What to Expect
When you step into my office you will be welcomed into a safe, warm environment where we will work together to achieve your goals. My personal goal is to work with you and to offer tools to help you on your journey.
I offer several types of counseling including Individual Counseling, Couples/Marriage Counseling, Child/Teen Counseling, and Family Counseling. I am qualified to provide Professional Supervision for court mandated cases involving minors.
Individual Counseling—In an accepting atmosphere we will work together to set and reach goals, explore issues and obstacles you may be facing, and practicing using specific tools to help you live a more peaceful and joyful life.
Couples/Marriage Counseling—By focusing on using strategies to foster communication I will work with you to identify areas in your relationship which need strengthening and utilize relationship building exercises and tools to help you heal your relationship and move forward.
Child/Teen Counseling— Springs of Hope Therapy offers a therapeutic environment that provides a safe place for children and teens to be heard and respected. Using art therapy, play therapy, and other child-friendly techniques I will foster open communication that will help children talk about difficult issues. I will work with teens to explore and to become self aware, to learn life strategies and coping skills they will need as they grow into young adults.
Family Counseling—Ensuring that each individual's voice is heard is key to the family counseling I offer. This is a strategic counseling approach that will develop strong communication skills to help grow your family closer, define boundaries, and develop management skills to strengthen love and connection in positive, healthy ways.
I offer a variety of approaches to meet the needs of you/your family including:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Solution Focused Therapy
- Mindfulness Practice
